Class A Port Driver
Full Time • LONG BEACH - WCTI
West Coast Trans Intermodal is seeking a dependable Port Driver with a valid Class A license and proven experience in port operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of at least 80,000 pounds, ensuring efficient and timely cargo transport. This is a 1099 Contractor position.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Access all LA/LB terminals safely and timely
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in with pulling containers from LA/LB terminals
- Operate chassis 20' 40' 45' and expendables
- Dry Van Experience is a plus
- Commercial driver's license
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
- Must have a minimum 3 years of Class A driving experience
- Clean record
Compensation: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
